Dominique Ehrl is a multifaceted professional and your new Miss New Mexico USA. A native of Santa Fe, Dominique is a passionate advocate for digital literacy, and a proud daughter of Mexican and German immigrants. She is a first-generation American and bilingual in Spanish.
From dancing Ballet Folklórico at age three to playing basketball, volleyball and track as a six-foot-tall eighth grader, Dominique learned early on the importance of heritage, teamwork, and confidence. After graduating high school from Santa Fe Prep, she chased her big dreams to Miami and New York City, while working her way through college she completed internships with Univision, The Food Network, and NBCUniversal, and also landing a modeling contract with Front Management. These experiences led her to a dream job at Google, where she built an impressive eight-year career spanning offices in Michigan, California, and New York.
It was her time in the tech world that ignited her passion for empowering others. Recognizing the impact of technology on small businesses, Dominique created The Digital Blueprint: Getting Found Online, a workshop series designed to help entrepreneurs build a powerful online presence. With over 60 businesses helped so far, she’s committed to scaling her platform to support the women-owned businesses that are the lifeblood of New Mexico.
For Dominique, winning a New Mexico title was the culmination of a 12-year dream. She had twice before placed third in state competitions—once with the Miss America Organization and again with the Miss Universe Organization (MUO). But when the MUO changed its rules to eliminate age restrictions and allow married women to compete, Dominique knew she had to try one last time. Her victory is a powerful testament to her belief that it's never too late to pursue your dreams.
Another one of her core beliefs is that effort and hard work are unlimited resources available to everyone. Through her reign, she hopes to inspire her community to always "bet on yourself" and that courage is earned by simply being willing to try.
Beyond her platform, Dominique is a skilled mentor in resume writing, interview preparation and professional advocacy, with a special passion for helping women and underrepresented groups succeed in the workplace. Currently, she works as a Product Marketing Manager at YouTube TV.
When she's not working or giving back, you can find her traveling the world, skiing with her husband, singing karaoke with family, or shutting down the dance floor. Dominique’s ultimate promise is to make everyone she meets feel seen, heard, and important. No story is too small to listen to, no problem is too big to tackle—a legacy she is committed to building throughout her reign.
